Today, we had the priviledge of having the Mangine kids over for a good part of the day at our house. I got to play "Go fish" with them. We made macaroni and cheese, we played on the drum (very loudly), we played Memory(Nixon cheated), we napped (I went to rehearsal), and then we had slushys and popcorn after our nap. Fun Fun! By the way, Nia and I thought the slushys were the best in the whole wide world and Nia wondered why it had to be finished when we wanted more. They were really really good.
Slushy recipe:
2 crystal light things( or kool-aid)
3/4 blender ice
1/2 cup sugar
1-2 cups club soda
1 tablespoon grenadine essence
Thirsty, happy kids
